Your hosts Jane and Jonathan Chennells welcome you to their relaxing family home, situated 1½km from Eshowe town centre, offering bed and breakfast accommodation in a private guest wing, or self catering accommodation in a charming cottage and two self catering flatlets.

GUEST HOUSE / BED & BREAKFAST
There are two large en- suite double rooms with beautiful views, and a relaxing sitting room for use of guests. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities,as well as fans/heaters/hairdryers for your convenience. A farm style English breakfast (or Continental if preferred) is provided. Each room has its own DSTV. Internet (ADSL) and fax facilities are available. Facilities include a floodlit swimming pool, tennis court, and trampoline. Guests may enjoy walking in indigenous forests, mountain biking on farm roads, fishing in the dam, and wonderful birding in the garden and nearby forests.

SELF CATERING COTTAGE
A charming five- bed self-catering farm cottage, ideal for birders, is also available. There are two double bedrooms and one single, with two bathrooms, spacious sitting rooms with DSTV, fans, air conditioning, and a self- contained kitchen. A large verandah and braai (bbq) facilities overlook the garden. Guests also have access to the swimming pool, trampoline, and tennis court. Tennis racquets and other sporting equipment are available on request.

Attractions

The beautiful garden is a birder`s paradise, with a tennis court, swimming pool and trampoline for the more energetic. Walkers will enjoy the indigenous forests on the farm. Cycling and fishing on the estate are also permitted. There are numerous farm animals, and children are most welcome. Sugar and banana farm tours can be arranged.

Game reserves are an easy 90 minutes' drive away, whilst good swimming beaches are only 40 minutes away. Eshowe itself has many attractions including Fort Nongqayi Museum Village (comprising Zululand Historical and Misssionary Museums, Vukani Zulu Cultural Museum, and KZN Paper-Makers), the Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk, and numerous sporting facilities such as Eshowe Hills 18 hole golf course, squash and tennis.

How to get there

If travelling from the south exit the R66 at the first entrance to Eshowe and follow the farm signs on the left hand side just before reaching the town.

If travelling from the north on the R66, bypass the town at the bottom of the hill. Take the last entrance to Eshowe and proceed as above.
